5.4.1.2 Fix Blanking Procedure

Start

Set the fix blanking

Press the enter button

on the receiver

Does 00 appear

at the display and does

the failure LED

The light curtain

boots and enables

the outputs

The light curtain is

ready for operation

DIP Switch Settings: Receiver

Position the object

to be suppressed

within the safety field

For example,

1. Remove the object from the safety

field

2. Reset the fix blanking DIP switch

3. Switch the light curtain on and off

Display at Receiver

Start with the pilot

beam, move the test

rod through the safety

field

Does the total

number of all beams

appear at the

display?

The following must be observed:
The safety field’s pilot beam may not be continuously interrupted.
