 key. The secondary clocks are synchronised automatically. The 

main clock and the connected secondary clocks are now set to an standardised time. 

9.  Press the 

MENUE

 key again to return to the time display. 

 

1.4 Use of extension cards  

The main clock detects automatically that extension cards are inserted in the slots. Inserted 
extension cards are automatically initialised and set-up according to their basic functions. 

The extension card settings are also protected by the system’s password.  

Depending on the used slot, the number 2 – 4 is indicated after the term "Module". 

 

1.1.1 Extension card for digital clocks 

An extension card for digital clocks needs to be installed to operate digital secondary clocks.  

Both times (UTC and LT) are always transmitted via the BCD code. 
The standard display of digital WEMPE secondary clocks is LT. The display can be changed 
from LT to UTC manually by means of an internal jumper.  

To change from the UTC date transmitted by default setting to the LT date, proceed as 
follows:  

1.  Remove write protection (

3.  Press the 

ENTER

 key for confirmation. The cursor starts flashing.  

4.  Press the key

 to select UTC or LT date.  

5.  Press the

 key to confirm the modification.  

To cancel the modification, press the 

MENUE

 key twice. 

6.  Press the 

MENUE

 key to return to the time display. 

 

1.1.2 MOBALine extension cards  

If a MOBALine extension card for automatically adjusting secondary clocks is installed in the 
unit, it is not necessary to carry out any settings for the secondary clocks.
