Make sure that your dealer checks
the engine alignment during your boat’ s 20-hour
checkup. The engine alignment check should be
performed in accordance with the recommended
procedures as stated b y the engine manufac-
turer in your engine owner’ s manual. F ailure to
do so could result in drive train damage which is
not covered under the w arranty.
7. We recommend that you reference your
engine warranty certificate for initial inspec-
tion and ser vice requirements.
8. Perform or provide for the scheduled mainte-
nance checks outlined in this manual and
all related ser vice guides and manuals.

The operator is also responsible for complying

• Break-in procedure
• Proper maintenance of the boat and its sys-
tems
• Safety equipment
• Safety training of passenger s and cre w
• Knowledge of boat systems
• Seaworthiness/operational inspection
• Safe operating practices
• Avoiding use of dr ugs/alcohol
• Environmental regulations
• Accident repor ts
Dealer
Your dealer will complete the pre-deliver y check-
list with you when you tak e delivery of your boat.
A copy of the checklist is at the end of this sec-
tion. Your dealer will also pro vide the following
services:
1. Sign the checklist to cer tify that your boat is
in top-notch condition and that all compo-
nents are wor king properly.
2. Discuss the ter ms of all w arranties and
emphasize the impor tance of registering
each warranty with the manufacturer .
3. Explain the proper procedures for obtaining
warranty ser vice.
4. If requested, pro vide you with comprehen-
sive instruction in the operation of your boat
and all its installed systems and compo-
nents.
WARRANTY
The Limited Warranty, in its entirety , appears on
the warranty registration card and is included at
the end of this chapter . We have made e very
effort to simplify our w arranty so that it ma y be
easily understood. However, if you ha ve any
questions regarding the w arranty please don’ t

not covered
by
this warranty, including:
• Incidental and consequential damages (stor-
age charges, telephone or rental charges of
any type, incon venience or loss of time or
income.)
• Damage caused b y neglect, lack of mainte-
nance, accident, abnor mal operation,
improper installation or ser vice.
• Haul-out, launch and towing charges.
• Transportation charges and/or tra vel time to
and from a repair facility .
• Travel time to customer’ s home or marina.
• Service requested b y customer other than
that necessar y to satisfy the w arranty obli-
gation.
