M I C R O T Y M P   1   T R O U B L E S H O O T I N G

8. Check the 9 pin connector that the flex plugs into, to be sure all pins are properly soldered to the

circuit board. If they are ok go on to the next step. If they are not, solder them, assemble the printer,
and check.

9. To remove the driver chip LB1256, first separate the 2 boards, step #5 (separating circuit boards

page 7). Unsolder LB1256, and replace, making sure the notch on the chip lines up with the notch on
the board. Solder LB1256 driver chip in place. Assemble unit and check operation.
