Instructions for use
weinor products are manufactured with great care; in
spite of this your weinor products are and shall remain
sun protection units and hence must be retracted in
unfavourable weather conditions, which may otherwise
hamper their shading capability.
A WGM Sottezza installed under a roof that is open in the front
and at the sides must be immediately retracted during strong
winds (wind force over 5). If, owing to its location or place of
installation, there is a possibility of its functioning being hampered
due to rain, thunder or snow, it must be retracted.
The standard SEB-Motor of WGM Sottezza has a start-up time of
maximum four minutes depending on its model. If the start-up
time exceeds this, e. g. due to frequent retraction and extension,
the internal thermal circuit switches off the motor automatically.
In such a case, please wait till the motor cools down (approxi-
mately 15 – 20 minutes depending on the ambient temperature)
and is ready for operation again.
Further, the SEB-Motor has a fabric reset function in the extended
area. In the end position, the unit is pushed back by the motor to
some extent to improve the position of the fabric.
If your WGM Sottezza is equipped with sun, wind or rain guards,
the control unit switches over to the automatic mode in case of
power failure. In case of power failure, units set on the manual
mode thus operate automatically.
When there is a threat of frost, you must change from
the automatic to manual mode to prevent automatic
operation of the unit. In case of frost or threat of frost,
the unit should not be operated!
The awning can be moved to every intermediate position up to
the maximum extension.

Instructions for maintenance and service
Even a low-maintenance product needs proper servicing. There-
fore, execute the following maintenance and service activities
as per the requirement, once in spring or if not in use for a long
period. These activities increase the service life of your unit.
Leaves and other foreign bodies as well as coarse dirt
• inside the box,
• inside the transport section,
• on the hoisting carriage,
• on the fabric, etc. must be removed immediately.
All moving parts must be lubricated regularly, this includes the
following points
• bolt of the fabric roller insert,
• guiding rollers and the axles of the hoisting carriage,
• coupling bearings.
In case of coupled units, the screw joint between the 2 fabric roller
insert couplings must be inspected once a year. For doing so,
unscrew the coupling box floor, extend WGM Sottezza until the
screw head points downwards and check the screw for its tight-
ness. Tighten the screw, if necessary.
We recommend:
Employing a firm specialising in the maintenance of such units.
Greases, sprays or agents containing Teflon, PTFE or comparable
agents must be used as lubricants. The lubricant must be water
and stain-resistant in order to achieve long-term effectiveness.
Instructions of the lubricant manufacturer must always be
followed. Lubricants that weaken plastics should not be used.
Consignes d’utilisation
Les produits weinor ont été fabriqués avec le plus grand
soin. Vos produits weinor sont et restent toutefois des
dispositifs d’ombrage et doivent par conséquent être ren-
trés en cas de conditions météorologiques défavorables
pouvant entraver le fonctionnement du store.
Un store WGM Sottezza sous une toiture ouverte sur l’avant ou le
côté doit aussi être immédiatement rentré en cas de vent fort
(supérieur à force 5). En cas de pluie, d’orage ou de chute de neige,
le store doit également être rentré lorsque le fonctionnement du
store risque d’être entravé en raison du lieu ou de la fixation.
Le moteur SEB de série du store WGM Sottezza a une durée
maximale de fonctionnement de quatre minutes suivant le modè-
le. Si la durée de fonctionnement (par ex. suite à des mouvements
d’ouverture et de fermeture répétés) est dépassée, la protection
thermique interne peut arrêter automatiquement le moteur.
Dans ce cas, attendre jusqu’à ce que le moteur soit refroidi (selon
la température extérieure, 15 – 20 minutes environ) et à nouveau
opérationnel.
En outre, le moteur SEB dispose d’une fonction de retour de la
toile lorsque le store est sorti. Le store recule ainsi légèrement en
position finale afin que le positionnement de la toile soit amélioré.
Si votre store WGM Sottezza est doté d’un détecteur de soleil, de
vent ou de pluie, la commande passe en mode automatique après
une panne de courant. Après une panne de courant, une installation
préalablement en mode manuel passe aussi en mode automatique.
En cas de risque de gel, vous devez faire passer l’installa-
tion du mode automatique au mode manuel afin d’empê-
cher tout mouvement automatique de l’installation.
L’installation ne doit pas fonctionner en cas de gel ou de
risque de gel.
Le store peut être mis dans chaque position intermédiaire jusqu’à
la projection maximale.

Instructions d’entretien
Un produit nécessitant peu d’entretien doit aussi être entretenu.
Procéder ainsi aux travaux d’entretien suivants en fonction des
besoins, une fois au printemps ou après une longue période d’arrêt.
Ces travaux augmentent la durée de vie de votre installation.
Les feuilles et autres corps étrangers ainsi que les saletés grossières
doivent être immédiatement retirés :
• dans le caisson,
• dans le profilé de transport,
• au niveau du chariot,
• sur la toile etc.
Toutes les pièces mobiles, notamment les points suivants, doivent
être régulièrement graissées :
• le boulon de l’insert de l’axe d’enroulement,
• les galets de roulement et les axes de roulement du chariot,
• les points d’appui du couplage.
Pour les installations couplées, le raccord à vis entre les deux inserts
de l’axe d’enroulement couplage doit être contrôlé une fois par an.
Pour ce faire, dévisser le fond de caisson pour couplage, sortir le
store WGM Sottezza jusqu’à ce que la tête de vis soit orientée vers
le bas et contrôler le serrage de la vis. Resserrer la vis le cas échéant.
Nous recommandons de suivre les points suivants :
Confier régulièrement les travaux d’entretien à une entreprise
spécialisée.
Concernant les lubrifiants, utiliser des graisses, sprays ou agents
à base de téflon, PTFE ou substance similaire. Le lubrifiant doit être
résistant à l’eau et aux saletés afin d’être efficace pendant long-
temps. Respecter dans tous les cas les instructions du fabricant
de lubrifiant. Les lubrifiants attaquant le plastique ne doivent
pas être utilisés.
