Neighbor Cache
Setting
Description

The information in the neighbor cache that
includes the neighboring node’s IPv6 address,
the corresponding Link-Layer address, and the
current state of the entry.

Time
The
Time
configuration page lets users set the time, date, and other settings. An explanation of each
setting is given below the figure.
The switch has a time calibration function based on information from an NTP server or user
specified Time and Date information. Functions such as Auto warning
can add real-time
information to the message.
NOTE
The IE-SW-VL08M does not have a real time clock. The user must update the
Current Time
and
Current Date
to set the initial time for the device after each reboot, especially when the network
does not have an Internet connection for NTP server or there is no NTP server on the LAN.
