OPERATION

KNOW YOUR HEDGE TRIMMER

READ THIS INSTRUCTION MANUAL AND SAFETY RULES BEFORE OPERATING YOUR UNIT.

Compare the illustrations with your unit to familiarize yourself with the location of the various controls

and adjustments. Save this manual for future reference.

TRIGGER SWITCH

The TRIGGER SWITCH is used to turn on the

unit. Squeeze the trigger switch to operate the

unit after lock--out button has been pushed for-

ward. Release the trigger to turn the unit off.

TRIGGER LOCK--OUT BUTTON

The TRIGGER LOCK--OUT button is a con-

trol feature designed to prevent the motor

from being accidentally started. When the

rear handle is gripped in a normal cutting posi-

tion, the trigger lock--out button can be

pushed forward by the thumb, permitting the

index finger to squeeze the trigger. It is not

necessary to maintain pressure on the trigger

lock--out button once the trigger has been en-

gaged.

FRONT HANDLE AND REAR

HANDLE

The FRONT HANDLE and REAR HANDLE

are used to maintain control of the unit.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Use only a voltage supply as specified on

your unit.

ATTACH THE EXTENSION CORD TO

YOUR HEDGE TRIMMER

To prevent disconnection from unit, secure ex-

tension cord to power cord.

1. Form a loop in extension cord and push the

loop through the hole in the rear handle.

2. Position the loop over the cord retainer and

pull back to secure.

3. Connect power cord of unit to extension

cord.
