Use a soft brush to remove debris from all
air intakes and the cutting blade.

Wipe off unit with a clean dry cloth.
LUBRICATE BLADES

Stop the motor and disconnect the unit from
the power source.

Remove any debris on blades.
S
Clean all parts and check for damage. Have
damaged parts replaced. Be cautious of
sharp edges.

Apply a light machine oil along the edge of
the top and bottom straps.

Ensure handles remain clean and
dry.
STORAGE
WARNING:
Perform the following

Stop the unit and disconnect the power
source when not in use.

Carry the unit with motor stopped.
S
Store the unit so the blades cannot cause
injury.
S
Store unit and extension cord indoors in a
high, dry place out of the reach of children.
Store unit unplugged.

Store unit with all guards in place. Position
unit so that any sharp object cannot acci-
dentally cause injury.
