- Shut off the roller as described in section 2.7,
- Unscrew the water hose (34b/2) from the water valve (34b/
1)
- Take off water tank (34c/2) after loosening the four cap
nuts (34c/1)
- Place the vibration adjustment lever (34a/1)
in position ( )
- The V-belt (34e/1) is tensioned by the clamping force of
the clamp element (34e/2) above the V-belt
pulley (34e/3)
- The V-belt tension meets specification, if it can be pressed
in approximately 10 mm with a force of 100 N.
If the V-belt tension is insufficient, tighten as described
below:
- Loosen screw (34d/1) and pull the tension element (34d/
2) to the rear, towards the hand guidance rod.
- When the desired tension is reached, fasten the tension
element (34d/2) with the screw (34d/1).
Fasten the tension element so that the holder (34d/
3) and clamping element (34d/2) are horizontal
relative to each other (see Fig. 34d)
- Check the tension again, as described above.

Ensure that the V-belt (34e/1) is properly aligned on
the belt pulley.
- Replace the water tank (34c/2) and fasten with the 4 cap
nuts (34c/1)
- Screw the water hose (34b/1) onto the water shut-off
valve (34b/2)
