- Remove the oil filter cover (25a/1) by loosening the two Allen
screws (25a/4)
- Pull the oil filter out of the engine block
Dispose of old oil filters in an environmentally responsible
manner
Always use new original oil filters
- Insert new oil filter in the engine block
- Re-attach the oil filter cover (25a/1)
- Check the Allen screws (25a/4) for firm seat
- Top-up engine oil (for quantity and specification see section
3.4.2)
- Check engine oil level (25a/3) as specified in section 2.4.2.
3.3 Description of maintenance tasks
3.3.1 Change engine oil
- Shut off the roller as described in section 2.7.
Only drain engine oil when the engine is warmed up and
the roller is at a standstill.
- Unscrew the protective cap (25a/2)
- Place a collecting container under the discharge pipe.
Select a vessel that is large enough to prevent oil from
spilling on the ground.
- Screw on the oil discharge hose (included with the on-board
tools)
Screwing on the discharge hose opens the drain valve -
the oil flows out
Danger of scalding due to hot oil.
- Unscrew the oil discharge hose
- Screw on the protective cap (25a/2)
Dispose of collected oil in an environmentally responsible
manner
- Fill engine oil as specified in the fill quantity table (3.4) into the
oil fill opening (25b/1 or 26/1).
