Slowly pull the handle of the reversing starter (10/1) until
resistance is noticeable.
- Allow the handle (10/2) to slide back into the initial position,
and then forcefully and completely pull it through with both
hands.
If the engine does not start, repeat the start process.
- As soon as the engine starts running, guide the starter rope
back into the reversing starter.
2.5 Starting
Prior to starting always ensure, that no one is in the
roller’s danger zone and that all protective devices are
properly attached.
Never use start-aid sprays.
When starting in enclosed spaces ensure adequate
ventilation -
Danger of suffocation!

2.5.1 Normal start DVH 550 L / DVH 600 L
To start, push the vibration lever (9/1) into the off
position ( ).
- Pull the gas lever (9/2) back to the stop.
