Appendix P. Controlling the MViQ with an iOS or Android Device

Note: Connecting a device running iOS 8 or above to the MViQ allows users to control the system from a distance.

iOS Streaming and Control

P

rior to being able to use an iOS device for streaming and controlling the MViQ system UI, iTunes will need to be installed on the system.  Below are the 

steps to do so:
1. Download the 64-bit version of the iTunes installer and copy it to a USB drive.  This can be downloaded from https://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
2. Insert the USB drive into the MViQ system.
3. Select iTunes64SetUp.exe from the USB drive via the MViQ's File Manager
4. Accept the installation prompt
5. Upon completion, the system will reboot, install iTunes components necessary for iView Remote to function, and reboot a final time to the MViQ UI with 

the message, "Third party softare was successful."
From the App Store, search for InspectionWorks Connect (see icon below)

6. Download and Install to begin using an iOS device for remote streaming and control.
