4.22 Replacing the air filter

You must replace the air filter annually.

Required materials

• New air filter

To replace the air filter:

1. Lift the instrument's visor so the source probe is fully exposed.

2. Fully open the source enclosure.

3. Disconnect the probe cable from the high-voltage connector, and leave the cable in a

position that does not obstruct the air filter grill.
