ACQUITY Isocratic Solvent
Manager
Waters designed the ACQUITY Isocratic Solvent Manager (ISM) to
control the delivery of isocratic solvent as a make-up pump in a UPC
2
system. The ISM, a single pump, operates at a maximum pressure of
103,421 kPa (1034 bar, 15,000 psi), and flow rates as high as 1 mL/min.
The pressure decreases linearly, to 62,053 kPa (621 bar, 9000 psi), at
flow rates up to 2 mL/min. The ISM can also function as the primary
pump in a UPLC system.
