Repeat closing the PBTV one full turn until the air pressure is equal to or up to
5% higher than the water pressure.

If the air pressure is too high after a full-turn of the PBTV, turn the Air Inlet Trim
Valve clockwise to lower the pressure until the air pressure is equal to or up to
5% higher than the water pressure.
10 Verify the Auto-Sync system settings by varying the fire pump discharge
pressure and monitoring the water and air pressure gauges. The air pressure
should rise and fall with the water pressure, matching it within 5%.
Pressures should match at static pressure only. It is normal for the pressures to
be unmatched when flowing water, air, or solution.
