4.2 Bus lines
CAUTION
Only make changes to the bus wiring while the unit is in a de-energised
state.
Several basic principles must be observed to ensure fault-free bus communi-
cation.
Do not accidentally swap the connections of the bus of the central control
unit
(terminals A and B) with the bus connections for the weather stations (ter-
minals A1 and B1). See Fig. 6 on page 16.
A maximum of 200 sensor splitters can be operated in a system.
The bus for connecting weather stations with the sensor splitters must be
configured in a linear structure and may not exceed a maximum length of
1200 m.
The ends of the bus line must both be terminated with a 120-Ω resistance.
Check whether all devices on the bus line are still being supplied with a volt-
age of at least 20 V.
