6. Check the torque on the rotator link pin bolt (2) and
tilt frame main pin bolt (4).
7. Check the torque on the rotator motor mounting
bolts.
IMPORTANT: Corrosion can build up on the
diameter sensor plates. This will result in
inaccurate diameter measurements.

8. Remove the diameter sensor (5). (See the
Component Technical Manual for instructions).
9. Inspect the diameter sensor and rotate the shaft (6)
several revolutions in both directions by hand.
10. Inspect the diameter sensor linkage.

Rotator to tilt frame bolt torque 125 Nm
92 lb-ft
CAUTION: To prevent possible injury while
working in the arm capture zones or the saw bar
opening, follow safety precautions. Lower the
harvester head to the ground and stop the
engine.

1—Rotator to tilt frame mounting bolt
1. Complete the six-month checks.
2. Check the torque on the rotator to tilt frame bolts (1).
Torque to specification.
3. Check the condition of the fixed feed wheel.
4. Check the condition of the delimb arms, feed arms,
links, pins and bushes, and the main frame.
5. Inspect the rotator pinion support for cracks.
