1.5 Air

combustion
De l’oxygène (de l’air) est nécessaire en permanence pour la combustion. Normalement
l’air de la pièce où est placée la cuisinière suffit.
L’alimentation en air peut être sérieusement perturbée si les portes et les fenêtres ferment
hermétiquement, s’il existe des systèmes d’aspiration de l’air ambiant (par exemple dans la
cuisine et la salle de bains), s’il existe d’autres foyers (aussi chauffe-eau et chauffage à
gaz) dans l’appartement. Si le cas se présente, il est possible de faire venir l’air de com-
bustion directement de l’extérieur ou d’une pièce suffisamment aérée (la cave, par
exemple).
A cet effet, les cuisinières sont équipées un orifice d’aspiration de l’air d’un diamètre de 80
mm placé sur la partie inférieure.
On devra utiliser des tubes lisses d'un diamètre de 80 mm au minimum pour conduire l’air.
Sur le tube d’amenée d’air, on devra monter, à proximité de la cuisinière, un volet-papillon
exécuté dans les règles de l’art, des ouvertures de révision devront être pratiquées dans
les coudes pour le ramoneur et on devra protéger ce tube par
une isolation correcte
contre l’eau ressuée de condensation
. Cette conduite ne devrait pas dépasser 4 mètres
et ne pas compter plus de trois coudes. Si cette conduite débouche à l’air libre, on devra
placer un dispositif approprié de protection contre le vent ainsi qu’une grille.
A noter :
Dans la même pièce ou dans les pièces situées à proximité directe, aucun
ventilateur d’aérage ni aucun appareil analogue aspirant l’air ne doit être utili-
sé. Ce genre d’appareil pourrait causer des problèmes de fonctionnement im-
portants et être à l’origine d’un potentiel de risques. N’hésitez pas à consulter
votre ramoneur.
A noter :
La pièce dans laquelle est installée le chauffage ne doit pas être soumise à
une pression négative qui proviendrait d’une hotte d’aspiration, d’une installa-
tion d’aération qui se trouveraient soit dans la même pièce, soit dans des
pièces situées à proximité directe.
