WARNING
High-pressure spray jet!
Danger to life from injecting paint or solvent.

Never reach into the spray jet.

Never point the spray gun at people.

Consult a doctor immediately in the event of skin injuries caused by paint or solvent.
Inform the doctor about the paint or solvent used.

Never seal defective high-pressure parts, instead relieve the pressure from them and
replace them immediately.

Wear the appropriate protective clothing, gloves, eyewear, and respirator.
Depressurizing the spray gun
1. Switch off high voltage at the control unit.
2. Turn compressed air regulator for shaping and atomizing air on the EPG 5000 to "0".
3. Close the compressed air supply on the material side upon the product pressure
generator.
4. Relieve the pressure of gun and system, e.g., by switching on gun without high voltage.
5. Fill flushing agent and adjust pressure.
6. Thoroughly flush out the spray gun.
7. Relieve the pressure on the gun and the system.
8. Clean gun and dry it with a cloth or a blow gun.
7.6 DISMOUNTING THE GUN COVER

1. Press the snap fit (2) together and pull the rear cover (1) off towards the back.
2. Unscrew union nut (3) and the front cover (4) off towards the front.
