• Insert the cable into the earth spike from below and pull the plug out of the
opening in the middle of the stand.
• Insert the plug into the socket of the solar station. Push this unit into the
guide rail on the stand.
• Store the excess cable by pushing it into the earth spike.
• Fit the covering cap onto the stand and turn the solar station to face south.
CAUTION! Do not exert pressure on the solar panel, as this may cause damage
to the solar module!
• Push the stand into the ground by pressing on the covering cap.
Assembly method II, fig. :
NOTE: Press the covering cap onto the earth spike. This makes it easier to push
the earth spike into the ground. Then remove the covering cap again.
• Push the earth spike into the ground by hand at the place of installation.
• Carefully place the lampshade, one or two extension tubes (for a lamp
height of approx. 0.8 or 1m respectively) and the stand on the ground at the
side of the place of installation.
• Push the cable from above through the extension tubes into the stand. Pull
the plug out of the opening in the middle of the stand.
• Insert the plug into the socket of the solar station and push the solar station
into the guide rail on the stand.
• Push the stand into the earth spike. Turn the solar station to face south.
Note: The stand should always be fitted onto the earth spike!
• Insert the extension tubes one after the other into the earth spike, making
sure that the cable does not become trapped.
• Push the excess cable into the extension tubes.
• Fit the lamp head with lampshade onto the upper extension tube.
Note: With this assembly method, one earth spike and the covering
cap are not needed.

Operation
1. Putting into operation/first charging:
• First operate the lamp for two days with direct irradiation in order to charge
the accumulator. The selector switch must be set to
0
(fig.

).
2. Daily or normal operation:
• In sunny weather, mainly in summer, set the selector switch to (Fig.
e
).
The lamp is lit with maximum irradiation for up to 12 hours.
