EFFICIENCY
The efficiency of the solar lamp depends on the time of year. The lamp is
operational at night for a longer period in summer than in winter.
The duration of light from the solar lamp at night is considerably dependent on the peri-
od of irradiation on the solar module. In cloudy conditions, for example, the solar ener-
gy is not sufficient to charge the accumulator sufficiently. In the following night, the light
duration of the solar lamp is therefore shorter.
On winter days there is limited irradiation. For this reason you are able to limit the
dration of light to approx. 4 hours after nightfall by turning the selector switch
(fig.

Note: Clean the solar module of the solar lamp regularly with a damp cloth in
order to ensure maximum efficiency of the solar energy collector. Do not use
any solvents for cleaning. Do not exert any pressure on the solar module during
cleaning.

ASSEMBLY
There are two assembly methods for the solar panel:
Assembly method I: Lamp unit and solar station separate
Assembly method II: Together on the stand
CAUTION! Do not exert pressure on the solar panel, as this may cause damage
to the solar module!
• Remove the solar lamp and accessories carefully from the box.
NOTE: The lamp element is pre-assembled in the lampshade.
WARNING! When digging and drilling holes, make sure that you do not come in-
to contact with hidden cables. Contact with hidden cables can result in serious
injury or even death!
Assembly method I, Figure :
• Carefully place the lampshade, one or two extension tubes (for a lamp
height of approx. 0.5 or 0.7m respectively) and an earth spike on the ground
at the side of the place of installation.
Note: If a lamp height of approx. 1m is required, you will need an
additional extension (see extra accessories).
• Pull the cable from above through the required number of extension tubes
and one earth spike. The two earth spikes are identical.
• Drive the earth spike into the ground by hand.
• Push the extension tubes and the lamp shade one after the other onto the
earth spike. At the same time pull the cable on the earth spike tight in order
to prevent the cable getting trapped.
• The cable leading out should be at turf level.
• Add the second earth spike with the stand to the solar station.
