3. Bad weather/low irradiation
• In bad weather or with low irradiation, set the selector switch (fig.
e
) to
.
The lamp is lit after night fall for approx. 4 hours with lower illumination.
NOTE: The solar lamp is equipped with a twilight sensor. This means that the
solar lamp automatically switches on at twilight and off in daylight. Make sure
that no external sources of light are shining on the solar station at night, as in
this case the twilight sensor will not be activated.
4. Switch to
0
:
• When charging the accumulator with the
Wagner
mains charging unit (extra
accessory), during transport or when not using the solar lamp for long periods
(storage), turn the selector switch (fig.
e
)
to
0
. The solar lamp is then no longer
operational.
Note: In order to conserve the accumulator and achieve longer light
duration of the solar lamp, especially in autumn and winter, we
recommend recharging the accumulator from time to time. Set the
selector switch of the solar lamp for the charging time of the
accumulator to the position
0
for approx. 2 days.
Winter storage
In winter, with temperatures below 0°C, we recommend storing the solar lamp in a
frost-free place and reinstalling it in spring.
ERROR CORRECTION
If, in spite of following all instructions, the solar lamp does not work at any
time, proceed as follows:
•
Turn the selector switch several times (fig.
e
) to the positions
,
and
0
.
• It is possible that, although the solar station of the solar lamp is switched on, it is
covered by another light source. If this is the case, move the solar
station.
• Make sure that the solar station is not standing in the shade during the day.
• Check the plug connections of the solar station.
• Check the connecting cable for damage (e.g. due to lawn mower).
