16. 2-axis coordinate tables K400 and K600
16.6 Mounting kit for mountable vernier scales for 2 axes and spindle Y-axis
16.6.2 Mounting the bracket for the mountable vernier scales
1. Use a 5-mm hexagon socket wrench to loosen the 2 screws (13)
2. Remove the clamping bracket (12).
Caution: the two nuts screwed onto the screws (13) can fall off on the opposite side.
3. Mark the position of the 2 holes on the clamping bracket (12).
4. Hold the bracket for the mountable vernier scales again on the Y-axis (16) and check the position
of the holes.
5. Punch the positions marked on the clamping bracket (12) to prevent the drill from running off.
6. Use a Ø 7 mm drill to create 2 holes in the clamping bracket (12).
7. Deburr the holes.
8. Fasten the prepared clamping bracket (12) to the coordinate table again using the two screws (13) and a 5 mm
hexagon socket wrench. Ensure in the process that the counter-nuts of the two screws (13) do not tilt.
