1. Delivery
Please check the following upon receipt of delivery:
1. wether the packaging has been damaged and/or
2. wether the device shows signs of transport damage or if there are reasons for complaints. In this case
we request your immediate notification. Claims made at a later date cannot be considered.
2. Safety instructions
1. We would like to point out that we cannot be held liable for damage which arises as a result of non-compliance with
these operating instructions.
2. The owner of this unit must ensure that at least one copy of the operating instructions is kept in the immediate
vicinity of the unit and is accessible to persons working with the unit.
3. Safety glasses must always be worn while working.
4. Do not remove accumulating chips with your hands. Use an appropriate tool (hand broom, hook, brush etc.) for this
purpose.
5. Workpieces must be secured in such a way that they cannot be moved out of position by the torque of the drill or
milling cutter or by the turning tools being used.
6. Do not drill into the drilling table.
7. Workpieces must be secured using suitable fasteners, e.g. v-blocks, machine vices etc.
8. Chuck keys and similar tools may not be fastened to the unit – otherwise, they could be caught by the spindle and
flung around.

Wear snug-fitting clothing and, in case of long hair, a hair net. Do not wear any ample or loose items of clothing
(ties, shirt sleeves, jewelry etc.).
10. A dust mask must always be worn while working.
11. Gloves may not be worn.
12. Hearing protection must be worn if the noise emission sound pressure level at the workplace is 80 dB(A) or higher.

Smoking and open flames are prohibited near the turning jig.
14. Always work in well-ventilated rooms and use an extraction system if possible.
15. Look out for any foreign objects (wires, nails etc.) or irregularities (e.g. knot holes) in the material to be processed.
16. Use only turning tools suitable for the intended purpose and ensure that the tools are in excellent condition.
17.
Check whether the hand steel rest is sufficiently secured before switching on the unit.
18. Turn the clamped workpiece by hand and ensure that it can rotate freely before switching on the unit.
19. Either avoid processing imbalanced and heavy workpieces or only process them at a low speed.
20. The rest must be removed for sanding and polishing tasks (risk of accidents).
21. Do not measure a workpiece while it is turning (risk of accidents, damage to measuring tools).
22. Do not brake workpieces with your hands or other objects.
23. Stay at the unit until it has come to a full stop.
