OPERATION

This section covers general operating procedures. Experience, machine familiarity, and the following information

will lead to efficient operation and good working habits. Always operate farm machinery with safety in mind.

PRE-START CHECKLIST

Perform the following steps before transporting the Delta Plow to the field.

Carefully read “Important Safety Information” on page 9.

Lubricate implement as indicated under “Maintenance & Lube” on page 47.

Check all tires for proper inflation.

Check all bolts, pins, and fasteners. Torque as shown in “Bolt Torque Chart” on page 50.

Check implement for worn or damaged parts. Repair or replace parts before going to the field.

Check hydraulic hoses, fittings, and cylinders for leaks. Repair or replace before going to the field.

Perform all beginning-of-season and daily service items under “Maintenance & Lube” on page 48.
