Three sizes of noise-isolators are provided, allowing you to adjust for a secure and comfortable fit.
Simply slide one noise isolator off the speaker stem and slide another on.
Volume adjustment for the STAR’s earphones is controlled using the Adjustment Buttons on the
Controller. Take care that the volume is set to a low level before inserting the earphones into your
ears.

Note:
Volume adjustment is only available when the OSD is not displayed.
If you are using an alternate audio system, use that audio system’s controls to adjust volume.
When a Windows equipped computer detects a new speaker system it assumes that is the speaker
system you want to use and automatically configures it as the selected audio out device. If you are
listening for audio, other than through the eyewear earphones, it may appear that you’ve lost
audio. You have not – Windows has just reset the audio to play through the eyewear’s earphones.
You can change this to your preferred audio configuration by opening the Windows Sound
Control Panel and selecting a different speaker system.
A tether strap or lanyard is provided for those unaccustomed to wearing glasses or who are
moving around while wearing the STAR 1200XLD. The tether will help secure (but not prevent)
it from falling off and possibly being damaged.
The ends of the tether strap loop over the hooks at the end of each eyewear temples.
