Buttons and special functions
Button Function, description
Hold Press for a short time: Saves the last measured val-
ue in the display / return to the current measurement
Holding the button for c. 2 seconds activates / deac-
tivates the background lighting of the display. You
can select two brightness levels.
Zero Zero setting of the display before the DC A meas-
urement
Select Selecting between the AC and DC measurement or
resistance, continuity, diode test and capacity meas-
urement.
REL Relative value measurement: After pressing the but-
ton, the current measured value will be saved and
the following measured values will only be displayed
as a difference to this one (display: REL▲). Press
again: Return to normal measuring mode.
Check the instrument for its correct function before using on
a known voltage source (e.g. socket).
To ensure the correct function of the instrument, check it on a known
voltage source lying within the rated range of the instrument both before
and after use.
