A triangle containing an exclamation mark
indicates important information in these
operating instructions which is to be obser-
ved without fail.
The lightening symbol in a triangle warns
against an electric shock or the impairment
of the electrical safety of the device.
This device has been CE-tested and thus
fulfils the necessary national and internatio-
nal directives.
• The guarantee will lapse if damage is incurred as a
result of non-compliance with the operating instruc-
tions! We will not assume any responsibility for con-

• The voltage values given on the voltage tester are
nominal voltages.
• The device must not be exposed to extreme tempera-
tures, strong vibrations or high levels of humidity.
Readings are only guaranteed within a temperature
range of –10 °C to + 55 °C and a relative air humidity
of 20 to 96% (climate category N.)
• Hold the voltage tester by the handles provided only.
Never touch the device beyond the ends (tactile) of
the handles.
• Before measuring, always check that the voltage
tester is working properly. Take a measurement at a
known voltage source, and check that the reading is
correct. If the display does not function or if there is
no reading at all, the voltage tester must no longer be
used.
• Apart from opening the lid of the battery compart-
ment, the housing of the voltage tester must not be
taken apart.
• The voltage tester may only be used on systems wit-
hin the voltage ranges given.
• The limit value applicable to DC voltage for hazardous
contact voltage (in accordance with DIN VDE 0100,
part 410) is indicated by the lightening symbol LED

stances toxiques sont caractérisés par les
symboles ci-contre, qui indiquent qu’il est
interdit de les jeter dans les ordures ménagè-
res. Les désignations pour le métal lourd pré-
pondérant sont :
Cd
= cadmium,
