e) Setting the GHG/CO
2
emission
Here, you can enter the CO
2
emission per kWh. You can find the value applicable to your
respective electricity tariff (for example 0.480 kg/kWh) from the internet page of your electricity
company or maybe from the contract documents of your electricity tariff.
Our tip:
If you have an electricity tariff with 100% electricity from sustainable resources, entering
0.000 kg CO
2
/kWh does not make sense.
You can enter a value for CO
2
emission of a normal electricity tariff. Then, the measur-
ing device shows how much CO
2
is saved by preferring a provider of energy from
sustainable resources as electricity company.
Depending on the power input, the measuring device will show the respective CO
2
emission
created during the operation of the connected load.
• If you have set the electricity tariff (see section d) before setting the CO
2
emission, you can
proceed directly with the next step.
Otherwise, the set-up mode must be started by pressing the “SET” button (1) for approx.
3 seconds. “
” will be shown in the top left of the display and “24Hr” (or “12Hr”) ap-
pears in the upper display. Press the “
” button (5) briefly 2x to open the CO
2
emission
settings, see next step.
• “GHG/CO
2
” appears in the bottom left of the display, the CO
2
emission per kWh of your
electricity tariff can now be entered.
• Briefly press the “SET” (1) button, the first position of the CO
2
emission flashes.
Change the numeric value of the flashing input position with the “
” (4) or “
” (5)
button.
Briefly press the “SET” (1) button to activate the next input position.
After confirming the last input position, the display stops flashing.
• By briefly pressing the “
” button (5), you can set the alarm for overloading, see next
section f). If you want to correct the CO
2
emission settings, briefly press the “SET” button (1)
and proceed as described above.
If you want to close the set-up mode, hold the “SET” button (1) pressed for 3 seconds
(or do not press a button for one minute).
