Function description of remote control
Note
♦
The auxiliary air heater can be switched on and off from a dis‐
tance of up to 600 metres (open space) using the remote
control. This range is restricted in built-up areas or from within
buildings.
♦
The remote control should be held vertically when the buttons
are pressed. The signals are received best by the aerials in
the vehicle in this position and the greatest range is achieved.
♦
Following disconnection of the vehicle battery, the auxiliary air
heater remote control does not have to be re-adapted.
♦
A new remote control must be adapted using ⇒ Vehicle diag‐
nostic tester in the “Adaption” mode.
Switching auxiliary air heater on using remote control
– Press button -A-. Warning lamp -C- must light up green.
The auxiliary air heater runs for approx. 120 minutes.
Note
The running time can be interrupted by the on-board network
management (low voltage).
Switching auxiliary air heater off using remote control
– Press button -B-. Warning lamp -C- must light up red.
The auxiliary air heater switches to run-on and then off.
