After confirmation, the device will write the recorded track in the internal memory to the SD
card. The double arrow in the SD card status indicator will be shown while the track file is
written. For a long track this process can take several seconds and the display will indicate
ongoing write progress by showing increasing numbers (starting at 1). When writing the
track has finished, two beeps will be issued and then the device will turn itself off.
Function mode switching
When the Balloon Live Sensor has been turned on it will start in altimeter mode where the
current altitude is displayed. The display mode can be switched by pressing the
OK/mode/config
button shortly once or multiple times. The display mode is changing in
the following order every time the button is pressed. When pressing the OK/mode/config
button on the last function mode, mode switching starts from the first mode again.

Display unit switching
For most function modes it is possible to switch the measuring unit of the displayed value
by pressing the Selection up
button or the Selection down
button. In the GPS location
function mode, the buttons switch between latitude and longitude of the coordinate being
displayed, in the Audio settings function mode the buttons modify the volume of the acoustic
variometer. The memory usage function mode does not provide any unit switching function.
