If the adenoids are enlarged, treatment should take place under the supervision of a

doctor. With acute sinusitis the Highmore sinuses should be cleaned off from pus (to be
done by otolaryngologist) before using the device.

In order to prevent the disease, treatment course should be repeated 1-2 times a year.

15. RHINITIS (RUNNING NOSE)

The treatment is to be performed at the early stage of the disease. Treatment should be

performed in accordance with the

scheme 19

. Duration of the treatment course – 3-7 days.

Vibrophones should be sequentially located at the Zones G and K.
With a timely treatment, it is possible to prevent the progression of the disease. In the

course of treatment, a heavy nasal discharge may sometimes occur. If on the 14

th

day of

treatment these nasal discharges are not over, one should consult with an allergologist.

In the case of allergic rhinitis, VITAFON-T should be used only at the final stage of

treatment in combination with antiallergic preparations. For preventive purposes the
treatment may be performed once in two weeks.

16. TONSILLITIS (SORE THROAT)

Treatment should be performed in accordance with the

scheme 20

. Duration of the

treatment course – 9-15 days.

Before the procedure, treat the tonsils with the Lugol’s Solution. Apply

vibrophones symmetrically above the larynx so that they are as close to the tonsils as
possible (Zone B, see picture 3). To do so a patient should lie supine and slightly
recline his head backwards. Once a day before going to bed vibrophones are to be
additionally applied at the Zone K (a patient should lie supine) – Mode 2, duration of
a session being 15 minutes.
