7. Log into the HDR1000 receiver and select:

View/Edit

a. Ensure that Streaming over Ethernet is set to On. It is assumed that the PCis
locally sourced via an Ethernet connection.

b. Type your computer IP address

c. The VLC default port may be modifi ed (see your IT administrator if unsure of this
port value).

8. Return to the VLC Media Player and select

Open Media

>

Network

(see example).

a. Confi rm the IP address and correct entry to match the port URL selected in 7b.

b. Press

Play

to view the video feed.
