Chapter 3

Deployment IM 253DP

This chapter contains a description of the PROFIBUS DP slave modules IM
253-xDPxx under PROFIBUS. A short introduction and presentation of the
system is followed by the project design and configuration of the
PROFIBUS slave modules that are available from VIPA.
The chapter concludes with a number of communication examples and the
technical data.
