0925 -- Toggle LCD behavior: "activity"
(default) or "power" The LCD can either show command
activity or be used as a “power-on”
indicator.
When the LCD is set to “activity” it
illuminates for a short time after
commands are received. When the
LCD is set to “power” it stays lit as
long as the VDP-80-720 is on,
turning off briefly when a
command is received.

0966 -- Calibrate A to D using a 100IRE
Window pattern Available on Inputs 3 and 4 only.

to adjust) Output horizontal sync pulse width Use of this command is generally
not required. However, if your
display device requires a narrower
horizontal sync pulse than
standard SMPTE timing, use this
command to change it.

0974 -- Toggle SDI cable equalization The SDI inputs provide two
additional digital connections for a
DVD player or other source with an
SDI output. The setup is similar to
other inputs, except SDI does not
require some of the setup controls
used for other inputs.
The SDI inputs are set for a default
cable length of 10 meters or less. If
a longer cable is used, enable this
feature.
0987 -- Toggle Sidebar-pan for antiburn
(default off) Displaying a 4:3 image on a 16:9
display can cause burn-in on many
displays. Sidebar-pan minimizes
burn-in by shifting the active 4:3
image left and right a small
distance, in fractional pixel steps
once every several minutes.
0999 -- Revert to factory settings (Note 3) Refer to Defaults on page 35.
