4.1
Turning on the Power

1.

Turn on your source components.

2.

Insert the DC power plug into the DC power input on the
rear of the VDP-80-720 (DC +5V).

3.

Plug the three-prong, AC power cord into the nearest AC
outlet.

4.

Press the

POWER

button on the front of the VDP-80-720. The

power indicator lights solid green.

5.

Turn on your display device(s).

6.

Select the input on the display device that corresponds to
the VDP-80-720 output to which it is connected.

Changing the Aspect Ratio

To change the aspect ratio (size and shape) of the displayed image, do either of the
following:

•

Press the left- or right-arrow buttons on the VDP-80-720 remote control.

•

Use the aspect ratio selection buttons on the remote control LCD touch screen (see Figure
2-3).

Select the appropriate aspect ratio for the type of program material being viewed; refer to
Table 4-1.

VDP-80-720

When you change the aspect ratio,

save the change afterwards

.

Otherwise, the change will be lost when the VDP-80-720 is powered off.
