Switching on/off the laser

The instrument is in

mode.

To switch on the laser, tap the

Laser On/Off
]
field.

Laser on
]
button.

To switch off the laser, repeat one of the above mentioned
actions.
Calibrate the laser manually

The instrument is in
Return Loss
mode.
1.
Press the
[
A
]
key.
2.
Tap the
[
More
]
button.
3.
Tap the
[
User Calibration
]
button.
The User Calibration menu opens:
4.
Tap the
[
Start Calibration
]
button.
The lasers are activated one after another.
5.
Measure the output levels with an external calibrated power
meter, and note the correct settings of the particular
wavelengths.
6.
Tap the
[
Enter Level
]
button.
7.
Type in the measured output level for the particular
wavelength.
8.
Tap the
[
OK
]
button.
9.
Repeat steps 6 through 8 as required.
10.
Tap the
[
Save
]
button.
