6. Tap the [ Normalizing ] button.
7. Tap the [ OK ] button.
The normalization will be performed and the display will switch
to measurement mode.
The display shows HIGH db.
NOTE: The normalization will be automatically performed for all
wavelengths.
Viewing the normalizing settings

The instrument is in Return Loss mode.
1. Press the
[
A
]
key.
2. Tap the [ More ] button.
3. Tap the [ Info ] button.
The normalizing value table is displayed.
Pass/Fail mode
Editing the limit in the
λ
-table
I
The instrument is in Return Loss mode.
1. Press the
[
A
]
key.
2. Tap the [ More ] button.
3. Tap the [ Edit Limit ] button.
The Edit Limit-table is displayed.
4. Tap the desired wavelength value.
5. To edit the limit of the preselected wavelength, press the
[
A
]
key and tap the [ Edit Limit ] button.
6. Type in the desired value.
7. Tap the [ OK ] button.
8. Press the
[
F
]
key twice.
Starting the Pass/Fail mode

The limit for the Pass/Fail mode is set.
1. Tap the desired wavelength(s).
2. Press the
[
A
]
key.
3. Tap the [ Pass/Fail ] button.
J
To switch to the Return Loss mode, press the
[
A
]
key & tap
the [ dB ] button.
