Comment: 

• 

The first time you use TMC on ViaMichelin Navigation X-980T, you will need to let the 
system initialise. The system will scan the FM waveband until it finds a station 
broadcasting traffic information. This search process may take a few minutes the first time 
round. After that, it is stored for subsequent use. 

• 

If it loses Traffic Info, the system automatically runs a new signal search after a few 
seconds. 

• 

Depending on the country, access to the traffic information service may be via private pay 
services or public services. When installed, ViaMichelin Navigation X-980T contains all the 
codes you need to receive traffic info in the countries covered by the map set installed in 
your device.
