13. Content Manager 

This is software installed on your PC to customise your maps, add new POIs (including 
personal POIs) or to regenerate your SD card if a problem occurs.

Connect your ViaMichelin Navigation X-980T to your PC (

for more information, see 

paragraph 12.3).

 

• 

Install the DVD-ROM and start “

Content Manager

”: 

-  either from: Start / Programmes / ViaMichelin / ViaMichelin Navigation PND 
- 

or from: C:\Program Files\ViaMichelin\ViaMichelin Navigation PND 
RC4\ContentManager 

 
“

Content Manager

” uses this connection to retrieve information from the PND, which will 

take a few seconds.  Your PC then displays the following screen: 
 

 

 

 

 
 

13.1. Map Manager 

X-980T is supplied with a 2 Go SD containing Europe. Map Manager allows you to 
customise your maps and to export them to the ViaMichelin Navigation X-980T if you want 
a personalised map section or only a part of the areas on offer.
