The security level function allows you to specify
when you will be required to key in the security
code.

PIN CODE
(User code)
The PIN code helps protect your SIM card against
unauthorised use. When the PIN code function is
active, you need to key in the PIN code each time
you switch on your Vertu phone. The PIN code is
supplied with your SIM card or is available from
your service provider.
The default setting for the PIN code function is
defined by your service provider.

. A confirmation
message appears.
When you change the security level, the
numbers in your recent dialled numbers list
are erased.
The SIM card becomes blocked if you key
in an incorrect PIN code three times in
succession.
Key in the PUK code if you have blocked
your SIM card.
PUK codes cannot be changed. If you key
in an incorrect PUK code 10 times in
succession your SIM card becomes
permanently blocked.
To obtain a PUK code contact your service
provider.
