DTMF A
UTODIALER
Nine DTMF Autodial memories are provided, allowing you to store telephone numbers
for autopatch use. You can also store short autopatch access code streams so as to avoid
having to send them manually.
Here is the DTMF Autodial storage procedure:
Press the [
F
] key, then press the [
M/V
(
SET
)] key to enter the Set mode.
Rotate the
DIAL
to select Menu Item #26 (“
DTMF
”).
Press the [
F
] key to enable adjustment of this Menu item.
Rotate the
DIAL
to select the DTMF Memory register (“
d1
” through “
d9
”) into which
you wish to store this DTMF string.
Press the [
F
] key, then press the [
F
] key again, to begin DTMF Memory entry into the
selected register.
Rotate the
DIAL
to select the first digit of the desired telephone number. When you
have made your selection, press the [
s
] key momentarily to move to the next digit.
Repeat the previous step to program the remaining numbers of the desired number. A
total of 16 digits may be used in the creation of a telephone number.
Press the [
F
] key, then press the
PTT
switch to save the setting. To store other numbers,
repeat this process, using a different DTMF memory register.
To send the telephone number:
Press the
PTT
switch to begin transmission.
Press the [
s
] or [
t
] key, to select the DTMF Memory (“
d1
” to “
d9
”) in which the
number is stored that you wish to dial.
Press the [
REV
(
DTMF
)] key to begin sending the DTMF string. Once the string be-
gins, you may release the
PTT
key, as the transmitter will be held “on the air” until the
DTMF string is completed.
