OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.
STOP!
Read the safety information above.
2. This appliance is equipped with an ignition device which automatically lights the burner. Do not try
to light the burner by hand.
3. With
fi ve (5) minutes to clear out any gas. Then smell for gas, including near the fl oor. If you smell
gas,
STOP!
Follow "B" in the safety information on page 43. If you do not smell gas, go to next step.
4. Press the master switch to the "ON" (-) position. Within eight (8) seconds it will beep once. This
indicates the system is ready.
5. Press "ON " button. Sparker will spark and pilot fl ame will light.
6. Once
pilot
fl ame is established, the main burner fl ame will light automatically.
7. If the pilot will not stay lit after several tries, turn the master switch to "OFF" and call your service
technician or gas supplier.
TO TURN OFF GAS TO APPLIANCE
1. Turn master switch to "OFF".
2. Turn off all electrical power to the appliance if service is to be performed.
