Customizing your handset
Personalizing handset name
1. Press
to enter the main menu and select
Settings->Handset Name
.
2. Change the name in the
Rename
field to a
name you want.
3. Press the
Save
soft key to save the new name.
Note: Press
#
to change type case from the
sentence-case default to either all uppercase, all
lowercase or numbers.
Language preferences
The default language of the handset is English.
Do the following to check the language:
1. Press
to enter the main menu.
2. Select
Settings->Language
.
Date and time
By default, the date and time displayed on your
handset is obtained from the Simple Network
Time Protocol (SNTP) server.
Volume adjustment
• Use
or
to adjust the ringer volume when
the handset is idle or ringing and press the
Save
soft key to save the change.
• You can also adjust the ringer volume by
pressing
to enter the main menu, selecting
Settings->Audio->Ring Tones->Volume
, using
or
to increase or decrease it, and then
pressing the
Save
soft key to save the change.
• Use
or
to adjust the volume of the
speakerphone, earpiece or earphone during
a call.
Ring tone preferences
Press
to enter the main menu and select
Settings->Audio->Ring Tones->Melodies
.
1. Use or to highlight the
Intercom Call
or
All Calls
option.
2. Use or to select the desired ring tone.
3. Press the
Save
soft key to save the new
ring tone.
