Cooling System (Fan Trays)    

The cooling system of an I-Gate 4000 PRO System consists of two fan trays, fitted 
side by side on the Fan Tray shelf and an air baffle located underneath the fan trays 
(see Figure  7-1). The I-Gate 4000 PRO system is supplied with the cooling system 
already installed (i.e. you do not need to install the cooling system). Later, however, 
you can remove the fan tray to replace the entire fan tray as needed.

The Fan Tray shelf (see Figure  7-2) is located at the bottom of each I-Gate 4000 
PRO chassis. The Fan Tray shelf contains two fan trays, each consisting of four fans 
(i.e. supporting a total of eight fans). If a fan fails, any three fans on each tray unit 
can compensate by increasing the speed to Turbo and still supply the system's 
cooling requirements. If a fan fails an alarm is generated and the specific fan tray 
should be replaced (see Table  7-1).
