5.1.4. Connecting the ETSI Cabinet to an Overhead 
Cable Run 

The procedure below describes connecting an ETSI cabinet to an overhead cable 
run. 

To connect the ETSI cabinet to an overhead cable run: 

1.  Locate the cable run or runs under which you want to place the cabinets, and 

verify that their location is appropriate for your needs. 

2.  Attach the upper bracket to the two support rods (see Figure  5-6). Use M8x30 

screws, washers and lock washers. Do not tighten the screws completely. 

3.  Adjust the upper bracket until it comes in contact with the cable run. 

4.  Tighten the side screw. 

5.  Place the tightening bar on the inner side of the cable run as shown in Figure  5-6, 

and tighten the top screws.
