This symbol on the device or the package indicates that disposal of the device after its lifecycle could
harm the environment. Do not dispose of the unit (or batteries) as unsorted municipal waste; it should
be taken to a specialized company for recycling. This device should be returned to your distributor or

Safety Instructions
Keep your work area tidy. Cluttered areas and benches invite injuries.
Keep children away. Children and persons under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not allowed to use
this device.
This device cannot be used as a toy. Never let children use this device.
Wear suitable work clothing. Never wear baggy clothing or jewellery. These can be caught in moving parts.
Wear a hairnet if you have longer hair.
Do not overreach. Avoid an abnormal posture and make sure to keep yourself balanced.
Always consider your doings when working with the device. Be concentrated.
Check the device for damage before each use. Never use a damaged device. This device must be repaired
by a qualified technician only.
Avoid unintentional starting of the machine. Always disconnect tools when they are not in use. Always
unplug the device from the mains before replacing parts or any other maintenance activity.
Only use an approved extension cable.
Make sure that the power plug is always accessible when using the device.
Never unplug the device by pulling the cable.
Never unplug the power cord when the device is operating.
Do not overload the device. You work better and safer in the given performance range.

Complementary Safety Instructions for Ash Cleaners
This device has been designed for domestic use only. Always follow the instructions in this user manual.
Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid for any reason.
Only vacuum cold ashes. Never vacuum anything that is burning or smoking such as cigarettes, cigars, etc.
Never vacuum liquids.
Never use the device in or near wet areas. Risk of electric shocks.
Never touch the device with wet or damp hands.
Unplug the device when you are not using it.
Never unplug or move the device by pulling the power cord. Always put the power cord in a way it does not
disturb people. Do not crimp or wrap the power cord around the device.
Do not insert objects into the openings of the device. Never interrupt or block the air intake and safeguard
it from dust, hair and other objects that can hinder the airflow.
Always use the device with its filter in order to avoid damage to the motor.
