22. When transporting the wheelchair with the occupant in it, Veldink4kids recommends fitting
the wheelchair with a headrest.
24. If the wheelchair is strored for a longer period of time, this should be done in a dry room. As
soon as the wheelchair is put back into use, the checklist in chapter 10 must be followed.
25. Veldink4kids accepts no liability for damage or injury caused by negligency or failure to observe
the safety regulations. Depending on the specific conditions of accessories used, additional
safety instructions may be required.
26. Never modify the construction of the wheelchair.
27. Use only the Veldink4kids parts and accessories. These have been tested and are safe.
28. Markings, safety symbols and instructions are attached to the wheelchair. They must not be
covered or removed. They must remain for the life of the wheelchair and be clearly legible.
29. Before using the wheelchair, check that all parts of the wheelchair are properly assembled
and secured.
30. Make sure that the push bar, back height, the armrests, the lower leg length and possibly the
headrest are adjusted to the correct height.
31. Maintenance a minimal distance of 5cm between the feet plate and the floor.
32. Check the dimensions and adjust them optimally as described in this manual.
