Divisibility and weight Kiddo Adapt (figuur 2)
The weight per divisible unit is shown below. This information is important for assembling,
disassembling and / or carrying the wheelchair. You can opt for a detachable back so that the seat unit
can be divided into the seat and the complete backunit.
1. Frame + orthesis (± 12 kg (min) ± 25 kg (max))
2. Wheels (± 5 kg)
Because the wheelcair weighs more than 10kg after dismantling the wheels, care must be taken how
to lift the wheelchair without wheels. Below an image is shown at which points the wheelchair must
be picked up. In this situation it is assumed that the wheelchair is approached from the left (for the
user).
Place your hand on the underside of the front and grasp the rear seat tube with your other hand.
Always keep your back straight when lifting such a weight.
