8.

Repainting The paint for this type of equipment consists

of a Europolveri primer with a high Zn content, followed

by a thermosetting polyester paint. Both solutions

are powder-based paints. However, a liquid-based

solution should be found for on-site recovery, since the

application of powder-based paints is not feasible.

Primer:

Epoxy-based liquid primer with high zinc content.

Paint:

RAL 7035 matt polyurethane bi-component liquid

paint.

Applying with a spray is recommended.

It is also possible to use a retouching spray as a fi nal

fi nish.

Ormazabal

recommends CRC spray, RAL 7035.

Sealing. Finally, the aff ected areas are sealed with SIKA

when the paint is dry (24h). A weatherproof product is

necessary.

Ormazabal

recommends using Sikafl ex-521 UV, which

has been tested and approved for this purpose.
